With uncertainty concerning requirements for travel set to last into the autumn, we are proceeding with an amended programme from September. While tours to Italy, Portugal and South Africa will not take place, we remain hopeful that those to Normandy and Morocco will go ahead.
Our tour to Upper Normandy and Picardy (13th -18th September) features exceptional gardens, traditional or contemporary in design, set among a landscape of rolling hills and apple orchards. Accommodation is in a superbly restored farmhouse in the countryside near Dieppe.
In Morocco (5th to 13th October) we visit gardens of Marrakech and Taroudant, and the spectacular Atlas Mountains. Gardens include compact urban courtyards with a range of design and planting styles; and more expansive country estates created with great flair by French duo Ossart and Maurières.
Plans for 2022 are, as you will understand, subject to change in response to the public health situation. We will continue to keep you updated. Meanwhile, we wish you all well and look forward to setting out again on our travels come the autumn.

The region has a wealth of remarkable gardens, some contemporary in design, while others are laid out as traditional walled gardens. All are privately owned. Our tour offers a chance to discover some beautiful properties, with exceptional designs and planting, in one of the country’s richest agricultural areas.
NEW Avignon – Cuisine, Markets and Gardens of Provence.

Our tour is centred on the tastes and flavours of Provence. It combines an irresistible blend of visits to producers and markets with cooking demonstrations and an opportunity to enjoy hands-on experience in the Michelin-starred kitchen of Hotel La Mirande. Autumn is an ideal time to visit: the days are warm and mellow, and nature’s colours and produce are richly rewarding.
